I'm Mat Russell, a Vancouver based wedding videographer who's always had a fascination for videos and creating memories that you can re-live. My focus is to capture the important, sentimental, intimate moments of the day in a candid and natural way, no one likes acting. My style is a laid back, live in the moment videographer who stays out of your way and allows you to have the best day of your lives.
Things I love: My wife, my family, my son, sports, travel, beer, skiing, adventure, pizza, coffee, cycling, and just general outdoors. If I'm not nerding out over cameras you can find me enjoying any of the things I just listed.

I grew up in Barrie, Ontario before living abroad in Australia for a year, as well as Vietnam for a year, and mix in moving to Vancouver! I love the lifestyle in Vancouver and its a great place to capture beautiful weddings.

It wasn't always so glamorous
Some fond memories I have are me making slideshows for my family on our old Windows 97 desktop in Windows Movie Maker, editing was so simple back then. We then got a family camcorder and took it everywhere, the cottage, the street for some street hockey, family vacations, and editing movies began. I eventually upgraded to some GoPro's and after that, my first DSLR.
